Design and Architectural service

Our customers often have an idea of what they want but require assistance in complying with structural necessities as well as help envisioning what there project will look like in a 3D perspective. We have  several drafts people and architects we work with on a regular basis. Having said that if you have your own architect we still would be interested in your project as a GC with design input.

 Indian Island is also a licensed installer of  Consumer kitchen and Bath products as well as a licensed installer for the two large home centers located on the Island. We can accommodate any kitchen or bathroom design imaginable.

General Contracting

 As a quality oriented home improvement company we have come in contact and have worked with some of the best licensed and insured tradesmen in the area. Whether your job requires Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, masonry or all of the above we  are the general Contractor for you.

All foundations, framing, roofing, siding, window and door installation, trim work, ceramic tiling, wood flooring, cabinet installation and finish carpentry are done in house. This is how we keep projects on budget and on time as opposed to most other general contractors who employ sub contractors for all aspects of their jobs. Home Inspections and Engineering reports

With our wealth of experience in home improvements we have seen ( and had to put a price on and repair) almost every type of structural defect, insect damage, or mechanical problem imaginable. So it was only natural for us to add home inspections to our list of services offered. We now  offer and are licensed to perform a 165 point thorough inspection of any residential property on Long Island NY.

As a home owner you can feel secure in knowing our inspections are more thorough (yes we crawl under the house unlike most inspection companies that show up in polo shirts) than our competitions. From us you will receive a written report itemizing and detailing in minutia all of our findings in an easy to understand way. There will also be a written estimated cost of repair per item for any of the defects we find. Our reports are used by banks , insurance companies , and most importantly homeowners prior to closing on their properties. The truth is the cost of the inspection is very small compared to cost of repairs needed to be made by the seller before closing on a property. Let alone your peace of mind.
